"It was always difficult when any of the shrunken people escaped on the rooftop terrace of the lab. Especially under the soft lamps and dim moonlight they were easy to lose track of. Once Amanda couldn't see one anymore, it was almost impossible to pick them out of the night time shadows. Fortunately one tiny found themselves in Amanda's gaze before she accidentally stepped on them. The huge scientist reached her massive hand down ready to scoop up the escaped tiny. For better or worse, they were found again."
This was just a drawing that I started for fun that evolved into a nice POV staring up at Amanda in the dim spotlights. In general I'm sure she keeps much better watch on her tinies. Who knows, maybe this was all part of an experiment and escape was impossible anyway. Either way the lab at night is a very quiet place to be shrunk and alone with Amanda. Only the wind calling through the distant woods and a soft hum of factory lights to disturb the stillness.
